When you register a members account, you can opt to receive the DENHAMS newsletter by e-mail. This will inform you of forthcoming auctions and when their related catalogues are available to view online.

Automatic Lot Search Function

You can leave specific keywords on your account describing items that are of interest to you. When the Sale Catalogue is put online, any lots containing the keywords you specified will be emailed to you.

Example : If you were a collector of Beswick Beatrix Potter figures, you could enter the phrase 'Beswick Beatrix' ( without quotes ) on your account. In the case of our September Antique sale, you would have been emailed the Lot Number, Description and Estimate prices of the 6 Lots whose descriptions contained both the words 'Beswick' and 'Beatrix'.

You may leave as many keywords/phrases on your account as you wish, provided you have read the guide to keyword specification.

Lot Basket and Absentee Bidding

When you visit the online catalogue section of this web site after you have logged in. You will notice that alongside each lot is a button that states Add ( provided an antique sale is active, meaning that it is forthcoming and its catalogue is online).

If you are interested in a Lot click Add and it will be added to your personal Lot Basket, which you can then view at any time by clicking on the lot basket link at the top of the page.

You can then either print off your 'Lot Basket' or add maximum bids to each Lot and then send then to DENHAMS as absentee bids.

View/Request Condition Reports

If you would like to see a condition report of an item, you can request one via the online catalogue page. A Condition Report is a detailed description of the condition of a lot and will include extra images ( if requested ).

If you click on the 'Request' link, you will be taken to a page where you can specify what you would like to see in the condition report i.e. specific areas that need photographing/description.

When the condition report is uploaded by us, the link will change to 'View'. You will also automatically be sent an email informing you that your condition report is online and the email will contain a direct linkto your condition report.
